this week has been quite the roller coaster! On Sunday, I got into some rough waters regarding my relationship. I spent the next two days in a slump. I didn’t get much of any work done at all.
However, this morning as the girlfriend and I were resolving our little funk, I caught up with my email. I had been flooded with contract work requests. I was super excited about that, but it was to the point that I had to turn people away. I’d like to say that I really appreciate anyone who shares the things that I work on. Twitter love really is the number one way that I get work, money, and food. You all are great!
On top of that, INK was greenlit! INK is coming to Steam! Both Windows and Mac builds (maybe more to come)! That was quick. Thank you all so much for voting. I’d like to quickly talk about what I want to do with INK on Steam. I want an expansion. I want an overhaul, not simply a new distribution portal.
– STEAM CARDS!
– FULL OST!
– FURTHER POLISH (MENUS, DETAILS, ETC)!
– MORE CONTENT (DOUBLE THE LEVEL COUNT)!
– HARD MODE (PAINT FADES)!
Lastly, I’ve been speaking with my friend Miguelito (@wtfmig), creator of Chicken Sword, about doing some humorous voice over for INK. I’d love to breath some life into this game and poke fun at the wonderful acid trip that is INK.
How long will this all take? I’m not completely sure. The original game took me roughly three weeks to complete on my own. I have a small contract gig and I have moved onto my next *big* project, but I still feel that I’ll be able to get moving on a lot of this within a month to six weeks.
THANKS AGAIN! 😀
